Ms. Elizabeth Barrett Topping
Former President, Columbia Corporate Social Responsibility Network; Dartmouth College Lombard Fellow, St Lucia 2002-2003  

Elizabeth Barrett Topping received her masters in international affairs in 2006 from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, where she specialized in energy and finance. During her time at Columbia she served as President of the Columbia Corporate Social Responsibility Network, a group which developed public-private partnerships to foster sustainable development. She was involved in similar efforts in her undergraduate alma mater, Dartmouth College, where she was Co-Director of a Greening of the Ivies Conference and active in the Dartmouth Organization for Global Awareness, which encouraged the college to consider social and environmental considerations in its endowment investment decisions. Following her graduation from Dartmouth, Elizabeth served as a Lombard Fellow in the Sustainable Development Unit of the St. Lucian Government. In January 2003 she organized Energy Awareness Week for St. Lucia. On her return to the United States Elizabeth worked as a Program Assistant for the Environmental and Energy Studies Institute and then as a Project Coordinator at Resources for the Future for a World Bank evaluation of environmental management in the Republic of Colombia.
